The manufacturer behind the equipment

We are a manufacturer, not a reseller. Autoclaves and steam sterilizers are engineered, fabricated and certified in our own manufacturing facility, installed and validated by our own engineers, and supported for their entire working life. That end-to-end accountability is why facilities across Sub-Saharan Africa specify Rob Dyer Surgical when downtime is not an option.

Our engineering is our signature. We were the first manufacturer in the sector to build with LDX2101 Duplex Stainless Steel, an alloy usually reserved for large-scale industrial applications. We design and maintain our own control systems in-house, so our technology stays durable and adaptable as healthcare digitises.

Compliance built in, not bolted on

Every unit leaves the factory backed by a quality system and paperwork hospitals can act on: ISO 13485:2016 certification, SAHPRA registration, SANS 347:2012-compliant pressure vessels, and a data pack containing manuals, manufacturing certificates, technical drawings and pressure test certificates. Which equipment do you supply?

Steam sterilizers and autoclaves, instrument washer-disinfectors, laboratory glassware washers, ultrasonic cleaners, drying cabinets, bedpan washers and sluice room equipment, heat sealers, sterile store shelving, LED theatre and examination lighting, low-temperature sterilizers, endoscope storage and endoscope washers, and the spares and consumables that keep them running.

Do you supply spares for the equipment you build?

We stock autoclave spares such as door gaskets and filters, along with spare parts, stainless steel accessories, combined care units and warming cabinets. Every unit we supply is backed by our spares operation and by technicians trained by the equipment manufacturers.

What does a maintenance agreement cover?

Preventive maintenance agreements are structured around your throughput, compliance calendar and budget, from an annual validation contract to a full maintenance agreement. Visits are scheduled around theatre lists and department activity.
